Creating this website has been a dream of mine for many years. I’ve struggled with identity, culture, and what it really means to be an Asian-American adoptee. I wanted to find a way to use my story to promote social justice and educate the world on the complexities of adoption, transracial families, and the unacceptable nature of the way we view ‘different.’
Where We’ll Grow, Together
MTMTE started out as a small project in response to the rise in Asian hate in 2020. It’s grown into something more than I ever imagined. It’s now a place of community, education, and hope for building a better world. Come along with me as we embark on a journey of empathy, acceptance, and true humanity.
